• You are automatically a low option benefit member of the ABA at no additional cost when you join the Quincy IL Area Local.
• You may include you spouse or increase your coverage to the high option.  The additional premimum will be added to your dues withholding.  No medical examination is required to join.  Coverage can be retained upon retirement.
• All benifit payments are made directly to the member, tax free, regardless of any other benefits received.  No hospitalization is required.
• We are self funding (not underwritten) and operated by and for APWU members and not for profit.  All members of the board of directors are APWU members.
