COMMON NAME(S):  Weeping Willow 

LEAF: Alternate, thin with finely toothed margins; smooth and glossy on top; pale beneath 

BARK: dark brown to black 

FLOWER: catkins of staminate and pistallate flowers 

GROWTH: to 60’, extremely long, drooping twigs and branchlets 

DISTRIBUTION: from Quebec to British Columbia down Gulf of Mexico 

LOCATION: Chapel Valley Subdivision, Quincy, IL
